In 2015, architect Mark Benas embarked on the design, engineering, and fabrication a one-of-a-kind large scale lighting solution for the dining area in his home. Little did he know that the craftsmanship, fresh take on industrial style, and artistic composition of that first light would prompt many who saw it to request that Mark design and fabricate a light for their home, business, or as a gift. As more and more requests poured in, many variations on the industrial theme of the original light were developed. Since that first light, The Illuminatery has added pendants, desk and table lamps, and accessories in keeping with the repurposed industrial style.
All Illuminatery fixtures are architect-designed and individually fabricated using the highest-quality materials. Where possible, parts are sourced from American manufacturers. All craftsmanship meets the high standards that are the hallmark of American manufacturing. Our goal at The Illuminatery is to provide products that look amazing and are built to last.
We will supply everything you will need to begin to enjoy your piece from the start, including standard mounting and connection hardware, canopy, bulbs, and of course, shipping is free on all items (limited delivery area on some oversized fixtures)
